FEATURED STORY: I am now 38 years old and have three college degrees…

I am from Chicago, IL and was diagnosed with SCA at 3 months. I am now 38 years old and have three college degrees including a Master’s in Education and School Library Science. I am also a certified teacher and school librarian in the DMV area. I also became a board member with a non-profit organization for sickle cell in the DC Capital area. I am married to a wonderful man and live here in DC.
